Rocky
March 1988 - July 11, 2001
Rocky was given to me in May 1988 as a birthday gift from my daughter. He was 10 weeks old at the time and a little ball of fluff and energy. His favorite spots were curled up in my lap and sleeping next to me in my bed with his head on the pillow next to mine. He loved to be kissed and would always head butt me so I could give him a "kissum."
He became sick in April of 2001 and on a subsequent visit to the vet, it was discovered he had a mass in his stomach. He died about 6 hours after surgery to remove that mass. I had Rocky cremated and he is once again home with me where he belongs. The house is so empty without him though and I miss him terribly. I know he has gone to a better place and is no longer in pain. He was a wonderful, devoted cat who loved me unconditionally and the love was returned to him a thousand times over!!!!
